# TextOverlay - ComfyUI Built-in Node Documentation

Note: If `text` is empty or contains only whitespace, the node returns the input images unchanged. The text overlay is rendered once and applied to every image in the batch. If the rendered text block is taller than the available image area, the font size is reduced automatically until it fits or reaches a minimum size.
